[Apt-Rpm] some dependencies are not resolvable

Hi All,

I just noticed that some dependencies aren't resolved by apt.

Here is the situation:
Package 1 contains file foo which is a symlink.
Package 2 depends on the file foo.

When installing package 2 with apt it will fail its dependency and say
it can not be found in the repository.
Installing with yum it will install that dependency.

I found this problem with the package redhat-lsb on CentOS 5.
The package depends on a file which he provides himself and this file is
a symlink.
The package can be installed using yum or rpm but not with apt.

I also noticed this with tomcat6 from JPackage5.0 which depends on a
file provided by ecj.

An other issue I noticed is the fact that the -q doesn't work and that
when the output of installing a package is written to a file it looks ugly.

Greetings,
Johan Huysmans
