Oh yeah...I knew that, but thanks for reminding me....update first.
I tried one without adding the gksu (that is what PCFluxboxOS uses, for instance,
to open the thunar pkg mgr in root mode from the flux menu, the entry is
gksu thunar", so I figure it's what I need.  On my ubuntu box, I would use sudo, of course.

I wouldn't dream of asking this list for assistance with scripts outside of
apt-rpm, really.
