Hello,

anybody using aptate here?

I wanted to get a local repo for the openSUSE 10.2 oss-Repository, to
use the apt-repo format instead of the repomd that the official one on
opensuse.org has. Reason is that my computer starts swapping each time
I do an "apt update", cos the repomd metadata is obviously to big.

I managed it with aptate, and it seems to work. But I found out that
aptate can create apt repo data, even if the rpm are not lying on the
local harddisk. That would be nice, would save me 6GB of space.

But I am still stuck, and would need a small hint, or somebody knowing
how to do this. Anyone?

This is my aptate.conf:

> <!DOCTYPE opt SYSTEM "/usr/share/apt4rpm/aptate.dtd">

> </wget>
> </component>
>

Thanks,
OJ
