Jump of 4-5 years is a big change, that's why I'm a bit wary about it.
However, having slept over it, claiming we're currently in somehow stable
state would be ridiculous really.
So applied, afterall. Just to restate that this isn't in my opinion not
just a bugfix because it would affect (the hypotetical) people relying on
the internal intl requiring them to change things, so if this was an
actual stable branch we'd be talking about, change of this magnitude
wouldn't be acceptable IMO.
